Russian pianist Valeri Grohovsky was born in Moscow in 1960. He
received his musical training and doctorate from the prestigious
Gnessin music schools and after being awarded first prize in a
national piano competition in the former U.S.S.R., he proceeded to
win prizes in numerous competitions both in Europe and the United
States.
Mr. Grohovsky is professor and artist-in-residence at San
Antonio University in Texas and simultaneously performs the world
over, delighting audiences with his formidable virtuosity and
unique interpretations of a vast classical repertoire. |
